Medical devices that save lives are all around us, but many people may not know how they were created. The Engineering World Health RSO aims to uncover the mystery behind the design process by delving into the history of specific medical device case studies. This event will take place from 5:30-6:30 p.m. on April 26 at BELL 1108, shedding light on the various contributions that are involved in shaping a medical device over time.
The organization’s goal is to ignite attendees’ interest in medical innovation and provide a deeper understanding of the medical device design process. By showcasing their own projects, the design team members will offer insight into how they are creating innovative solutions to global health challenges, showcasing the current demands in medical innovation and the ways in which students are working to address these challenges.
This event is made possible by the Student Activities Fee as a funded event by the Associated Student Government and is free for all currently enrolled University of Arkansas, Fayetteville students who pay the student activities fee. The venue is ADA compliant, and individuals with disabilities are encouraged to attend.
