Sports Bar & Grill formerly known as Bully’s, to be sold to new owner

Bully’s Sports Bar & Grill in Reno, Nevada will undergo a change in ownership as Jo Lown, the President and CEO for 25 years, has announced her decision to sell the company. Lown will be stepping down to spend more time with her family and has chosen Ron Winchell, owner of ECL Gaming in Las Vegas, as the new owner.

Lown expressed that the decision was not made lightly, but she believes it is the right time for her to transition away from her day-to-day role in order to prioritize her family. She is confident in Winchell’s vision, energy, and expertise to continue the success and culture of Bully’s, as well as create new opportunities for the team and enhance the customer experience.

Winchell is excited to take on this new venture and recognizes the great work that Jo and her team have done in building Bully’s. He believes that maintaining the current culture is crucial and aims to expand the employee base while refreshing the locations to enhance the overall experience for both employees and customers.

The transition in ownership marks an exciting time for the gaming and entertainment industry in Reno, Sparks, and Carson City. Both Lown and Winchell are committed to ensuring the continued success and growth of Bully’s Sports Bar & Grill under its new ownership.
