Results of NASCAR Cup Race at Texas Motor Speedway

The winners from Sunday’s Cup race at Texas Motor Speedway included Chase Elliott, who ended a 42-race winless streak by managing two overtime restarts to secure his first Cup victory since October 2022. Hendrick Motorsports also had a successful day, with their team winning five of the first nine races this season. William Byron has three wins, Kyle Larson has one, and now Chase Elliott has one as well.

Another winner was Brad Keselowski, who finished the day in second place despite not having the best car. This result was significant for him as he was outside a playoff spot going into Texas. Richard Childress Racing also had a good day, with Austin Dillon finishing a season-best eighth and Kyle Busch placing ninth. This marked the first time this year that RCR had both cars in the top 10. Additionally, rookie Carson Hocevar scored his first career top 10 in Cup on Sunday.

On the other hand, there were some losers from the race. Alex Bowman was involved in an incident early on and finished a season-worst 37th, causing him to drop from 10th to 14th in points. Michael McDowell was also a loser after wrecking while dueling for the lead and finishing in 35th place. Furthermore, Ford was a loser as a car manufacturer, as they have yet to win this season in Cup, Xfinity, or Trucks, resulting in no wins in 24 races across these three series.
