Laguna Blanca Winter Sports Excel on All-Frontier League Teams | Sports

During the winter sports season, Laguna Blanca saw impressive achievements from its teams and individuals. In boys soccer, the team finished in second place in the Frontier League with a record of 5-2-1. Seniors Gabriel Lea, Andreas McClintock, and Tanner Murphy stood out as dominant forces on defense, earning them spots on the All-League First Team. Baylor Wilson and Isaac Duron also made the Second Team and Enzo Viñoly received an Honorable Mention.

For the girls soccer team, individual performances stood out despite the team’s less successful record. Seniors Natalie Bianchi and Paloma Lujan were both named to the All-League First Team, with Jordyn Garcia and Regina Lujan making the Second Team and Lila Foster, Caroline Kenny, and Tallulah Staeger receiving Honorable Mentions.

In boys basketball, head coach Phil Sherman led his team to a 6-2 league record and qualified for the CIF-SS Div. 5A Playoffs. Sherman was named Co-Frontier League Coach of the Year alongside coaches from Thacher and Foothill Tech. Seniors Eka Nayak and Charlie Sheldon earned spots on the All-League First Team, with Ganden Walker, Carson Stewart, and Josh Hansen making the Second Team.
