Walmart Unveils Holiday Support for SMBs: New Resources to Boost Business

In recent years, Walmart Business has been working hard to develop solutions and services for small businesses, including a dedicated membership program and a customized mobile app experience. Now, the retailer is preparing small businesses for holiday office celebrations by launching its Holiday Party Shop and Employee Gift Finder solutions. This new offering is designed to help companies and nonprofits save time and money while getting ready for their holiday parties. Walmart has partnered with TikTok influencer Corporate Natalie to provide advice and a curated marketplace shopping experience for all of your holiday party needs. The Gift Finder tool also offers personalized product recommendations based on price range, customer rating, availability, delivery speed, and brand.

Walmart Business believes that throwing a successful holiday party is not only a great way to celebrate the season but also helps to build camaraderie and team spirit within an organization. To make it as easy as possible for customers, Walmart offers same-day delivery or curbside pickup for online orders, as well as Walmart Pay for in-store shoppers who prefer to pay with the shared payment method in the Walmart Business app.

These flexible options demonstrate Walmart’s commitment to providing B2B buyers with an exceptional shopping experience that caters to the diverse needs of everyday consumers while still being tailored specifically to the unique expectations of small business owners and operators. Ashley Hubka, SVP and General Manager of Walmart Business, explains: “We recognized that we had both the capabilities and the opportunity to really focus on them in a way that we had never done before. That was our goal: as our strategy evolved and our ecommerce capabilities advanced to where they are today, we felt like we had the grounding and the bandwidth to think more about businesses [as customers].”
