Tiger Woods Debuts New Looper with Veteran Caddie Lance Bennett at Genesis Invitational

Tiger recruits experienced caddie for Genesis Invitational comeback

Tiger Woods is set to debut a new looper at this week’s Genesis Invitational, according to Golfweek. It has been reported that Woods will have veteran caddie Lance Bennett on the bag at Riviera. Bennett, who has worked for several top golfers in the past including Matt Kuchar, Sungjae Im and Davis Riley, currently caddies for rookie Adrien Dumont de Chassart.

Woods and his longtime caddie Joe LaCava parted ways mutually last year, with LaCava taking on a full-time role with Patrick Cantlay. Woods’ business partner, Rob McNamara, filled in as his caddie at the Hero World Challenge and PNC Championship. However, it is not clear whether Bennett will be a permanent solution for Woods’ bag or if this is just a temporary arrangement.
