The Popcorn Shoppe, a gourmet popcorn shop located at the Metro Centre, has been facing struggles as a small business. The owners, Matt George and Niki Duckworth, explained that this has resulted in difficulties paying employees, affording rent and buying inventory.

Despite the challenges, The Popcorn Shoppe continues to offer a variety of gourmet popcorn flavors, lemon shake ups, freeze dried candy and other treats. They invite customers to take advantage of their specials and collaborate on fundraising events.
