Texas Rangers and Bally Sports Southwest Seal Deal to Air Games

In a recent development, the Texas Rangers and Bally Sports Southwest have reached an agreement to broadcast both home and away games during the regular season. Bally Sports Southwest will be airing a total of 157 games, including four spring training games, with the first game scheduled to air on March 14. The regular season coverage is set to begin on March 30 with a game between the Rangers and the Chicago Cubs at Globe Life Field.

In other news, it was reported that Diamond Sports, the parent company of Bally Sports, had filed for bankruptcy protection in the past. However, last month it was announced that the company would be partnering with Amazon as part of a restructuring agreement. This agreement was approved by a Houston judge last Friday.
