Paul Frederic Anderson, a 44-year-old man from Mansfield, Ohio, passed away at UPMC Altoona after a brief illness surrounded by his family. He was the middle son of Terry and Marci Anderson and had one older brother, David, and a younger brother, Michael.
Anderson graduated from Hollidaysburg Area High School in 1998 and went on to earn a degree in economics from Duke University in 2002. In addition to living in Hollidaysburg, he also had homes in Austin, Texas, Pittsburgh, and parts of Maryland.
Paul was an avid sports fan and enjoyed playing basketball with his brothers growing up. He later starred on the Hollidaysburg high school team and was an avid fan of the Duke Blue Devils, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Penn State Nittany Lions.
He is survived by his parents and brothers and their respective families. David Anderson is married to Emily and they have two children: Sydney (18) and Jack (14). Michael Anderson is married to Jana and they have three children: Misha (14), Luke (13), and Maggie (10). All of them cherished their Uncle Paul dearly.
In lieu of flowers or visitation, it is requested that donations be made to your favorite charity in Paul’s honor.
