Passenger Passes Away During Royal Caribbean’s 9-Month Ultimate World Cruise

A tragic event has taken place on the Serenade of the Seas, a Royal Caribbean cruise ship that is currently embarking on its nine-month-long Ultimate World Cruise. On February 12th, Royal Caribbean confirmed that a passenger on board had passed away. The company expressed their deepest condolences and offered support and assistance to the deceased passenger’s loved ones. They also stated that they would not be sharing any further information at this time.

According to People, she mentioned that an elderly lady had passed away the night before and that she witnessed her body being taken out.

The Serenade of the Seas set sail on its 274-night Ultimate World Cruise back in December, with tickets reportedly sold for $53,999. The cruise has become a viral sensation and has been closely followed by many people around the world. Despite this tragedy, Royal Caribbean continues to provide its passengers with a once-in-a-lifetime experience on board the Serenade of the Seas.
