The MUSC Global Health Week is seeking abstracts for its poster session. All submissions must be in narrative form and exclude tables, charts, or graphs. The abstract should not exceed 300 words (excluding the title). Submitting authors are expected to present their posters at the event and obtain pre-approval from any co-authors before submitting the abstract.
To be accepted, abstracts must be well-organized, concise, clear, and well-written. They should include a description of the problem being addressed and the approach taken to solve it. While providing preliminary results is suggested but not required, final results will be necessary for the poster presentation. Additionally, authors must establish a clear connection between their work and global health outcomes.
The committee will assess submissions based on originality, presentation, relevance, quality, and clarity. Accepted abstracts will be notified by March 29 with detailed instructions on how to prepare the poster for presentation at the event.
