Top Performers in Murfreesboro Area High School Spring Sports during Week 1

On Monday, several high school baseball players stood out with impressive performances. Liam Goodheart from Riverdale went 3-for-4 with a double and four RBIs in a 15-6 win over Coffee County, while Gunnar Waldrop went 2-for-4 with a triple, stolen base, and four RBIs. Jaxon Pridgen pitched well, allowing just one run and three hits over four innings for Riverdale, striking out nine batters along the way. Caleb Jordan added a run, an RBI, and three stolen bases to the team’s effort.

In soccer action, Aidan Sinclair and Larry Ochoa from Rockvale both scored two goals each in a 4-1 win over Nolensville. Their strong performances helped secure the victory for their team.

Ty Newton from Rockvale had a strong game, going 2-for-4 with a double, a run, and two RBIs in a 10-8 loss to Nolensville. Cam Curtis contributed with a 1-for-2 performance, scoring two runs and stealing a base. In another game, Colton Baron and Dylan Rodgers from Siegel combined to allow only four hits and two earned runs while striking out 10 batters
