The 2023 Purple-Gold World Series will mark the end of LSU’s six-week fall practice period this weekend. Both intrasquad games are open to the public and admission and parking are free. The gates to Alex Box Stadium, Skip Bertman Field will open 15 minutes prior to first pitch each day.
The Purple team will be led by captain Alex Milazzo, a senior catcher, while the Gold squad will be captained by graduate catcher Hayden Travinski. The first game is set for 4:30 p.m. CT on Friday, and the second game starts at 11 a.m. CT on Sunday.
