Pittsburgh Spa Employee Pistol-Whipped in Robbery: What Happened and What’s Next

Robbery at Overbrook business results in employee being pistol-whipped – WPXI

On Monday evening, a female employee of Sky Spa located in Pittsburgh’s Overbrook neighborhood was pistol-whipped during a robbery. The incident occurred at the 2500 block of Library Road just before 7:50 p.m. According to the victim, two masked men forcefully entered the business while she was letting a customer out the door. Despite the presence of three customers and four other employees at the time of the robbery, they were on a different floor and did not witness the attack.

The victim mentioned to the police that she saw one gun before being struck in the head. It is not currently known what, if anything, was taken from the business during the robbery. First responders arrived at the scene and are still investigating the incident.
