PCC Students Shine at Statewide Conference

Tax season is in full swing in the US, and many people are eagerly awaiting their 2023 tax return. For those looking to check the status of their return, there are several options available.

Ten students from Pioneer recently participated in the Ohio Business Professionals of America State Leadership Conference, showcasing their skills and dedication. Seven of the students placed in the top 10 in Ohio in their respective categories, with four of them earning a spot at the National Leadership Conference in Chicago.

The students who placed in the top five are Gabe Melvin, Jason Lambert, Bradon Stidam, and Brice Browning, who secured first place in Computer Security for the second year in a row. Business Professionals of America is a Career Technical Student Organization that helps high school students prepare for careers in business and related fields.

The BPA advisors at Pioneer are Dan Foss and Fritz Fagan, who support the students in developing their skills and making connections in the business world.
