The Nighthawks have consistently been in the spotlight, battling with USC Aiken and Lander for the top positions in the PBC standings and NCAA Southeast Region rankings. Despite a couple of late-season losses, they finished at No. 2 in the PBC and third in the region behind USC Aiken and Lander. Now, they eagerly await the NCAA Tournament selection show to see if they will host the next weekend’s region tournament.

In the PBC Tournament championship game, North Georgia emerged victorious, defeating fourth-seeded Flagler 70-60. They dominated the game in the paint, outscoring Flagler by a significant margin. Tournament MVP Frank Champion led the team with 17 points, showcasing his impressive performances throughout the week. Teammate Cayden Charles also shined with 10 points, seven rebounds, and five blocks in the title game. Players from Flagler, Columbus State, and Georgia College were also recognized on the All-Tournament Team.
