New Members Added to the UH Sports Circle of Honor: A Look into the Lives of June Jones, the 2010 Softball Team, and More!

UH Athletics Inducts 5 New Members into Sports Circle of Honor Class of 2024

The University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa Athletics has announced the 40th class of the UH Sports Circle of Honor, which includes June Jones (football), the 2010 softball team, James “Jim” Kalili (football), Ann Miller (journalist), and Cindy Luis (journalist).

The official enshrinement of the class of 2024 will take place at the Green & White Celebration scheduled for Sunday, May 5 at The Royal Hawaiian Resort. To learn more about this event and to purchase table sales, visit their website.

The Circle of Honor was established in 1982 to recognize individuals and teams who have contributed to the growth, history, and tradition of UH Athletics. This year’s honorees include:

* June Jones – eighth football coach enshrined.

* James “Jim” Kalili – 36th football player.

* Ann Miller – seventh journalist honored and first two print reporters recognized.

* Cindy Luis – eighth journalist honored and first two print reporters recognized.

* The 2010 softball team – 13th overall team to be inducted and the first women’s team other than women’s volleyball’s four teams.
