Memorial Health System’s Belpre Medical Campus Emergency Department earns recognition with prestigious award

The Belpre Medical Campus Emergency Department at Memorial Health System has been awarded the Golden Hour Award from the OhioHealth Trauma Network for providing outstanding patient care in a recent traumatic injury case. This award recognizes healthcare teams that demonstrate exceptional care within the first 60 minutes after a traumatic injury, which is crucial for determining a patient’s prognosis.

The Golden Hour Award is presented annually at the OhioHealth Trauma Care Conference and goes to referring facilities that have demonstrated exceptional patient care in trauma cases. The recipients are nominated based on recent trauma cases handled by their department. The recognition by the OhioHealth Trauma Network reflects the life-saving care provided by the Belpre ED team during the traumatic injury case, showcasing their high caliber of care.
