Mekhi Becton Scheduled for MRI on Ankle Injury

Mekhi Becton, the Jets’ left tackle, suffered an ankle injury during Sunday’s game against the Bills and had to be carted back to the locker room for further evaluation. He did not return, leaving his rookie replacement, Carter Warren, to fill in for him. The Jets have used seven different offensive line combinations this season and will now undergo tests on Monday to determine if they will need to use an eighth combination for their upcoming game against the Dolphins on Friday. Head coach Robert Saleh stated that Becton would undergo further evaluation to determine the extent of the injury.
