Last Monday morning, Gerard Niblack, the owner of 404 Computer and Cell Phone Repair in Marietta, arrived at his shop to find it riddled with 16 bullet holes. The damage was extensive, with glass everywhere and a feeling of fear lingering in the air. Marietta Police believe a small caliber handgun was used in the shooting, but they have not yet identified any suspects.
Fortunately, no one was inside the shop at the time of the shooting. However, when customers arrived on Wednesday, they were shocked to see the extent of the damage. The shop is located in a nice suburban area, and customers like George Wright expressed surprise at the incident, stating, “I’m very surprised something like this happened.”
Marietta Police noted that this area is not known for frequent shootings, adding to the sense of concern and fear for Niblack. He mentioned feeling worried for his safety, as this type of violence was not something he had experienced before.
