Technology classes at LLCC cater to seniors to enhance their skills

Lincoln Land Community College is offering free classes to seniors struggling to keep up with rapidly changing technology. These classes will take place in the college’s downtown Springfield center, located at 130 W. Mason St. The courses will cover the basics of email, the internet, mobile devices, cybersecurity, computer basics, and video conferencing.

More details about the classes and registration are available at llcc.edu/digital-literacy. Laurel Bretz, an assistant vice president at LLCC, stated that the world’s movement towards digital services and access has left many older adults feeling isolated, frustrated, and socially excluded.
