The Ministry of Construction has announced that the registration for the next lottery drawing “Discounted Apartment” (“Dira ba-anaha”) will be extended until February 13. This means that those who wish to purchase one of the nearly 7,000 subsidized apartments in 16 localities in Israel have an additional week to sign up.
The current round of the lottery started on December 26 and so far, over 100,000 people have registered. A total of 72 projects with 6,816 apartments are being awarded across the country. In Eilat, two projects with 114 apartments are being played out, while nine projects with 931 apartments are being awarded in Elad. Eleven projects with 546 apartments are being played out in Ashkelon, and one project with 63 apartments is being awarded in Beit Dagan. Six projects with 556 apartments are being awarded in Bnei Aisha, one project for 46 apartments is being played out in Jerusalem, three projects for 187 apartments are being played out in Modiin, and two projects for 141 apartments are being awarded in Ma’alot Tarshiha.
In Petah Tikva, one project for 154 apartments is being played out, while in Safed, one project for 41 apartments is being awarded.
