Junior and Senior Division Winners Announced at 2021 Corden Pharma Colorado Regional Science Fair

“Boulder Valley School District Crowns Regional Science Fair Champions” – Longmont Times-Call

The annual Corden Pharma Colorado Regional Science Fair, held in partnership with the Boulder Valley School District, recently announced its winners. This event featured a diverse mix of junior and senior division projects across multiple categories.

In the junior division, Tejas Raman from Boulder Country Day was awarded best in show for his project in the Earth and environmental science category. Several other students also received first place in their respective categories, including participants from Summit, Sacred Heart, Flagstaff Academy, and Boulder Country Day.

Moving on to the senior division, Sophia Zhang and Claire Huang from Fairview High took home the best in show award for their chemistry project. Other first place winners in the senior division included students from Centaurus, Fairview, and Nederland.

The top 37 projects from this competition will advance to the Colorado Engineering and Science Fair in April, which will be held in Fort Collins. Additionally, three senior projects have qualified for the International Science and Engineering Fair in May in California. The students representing their projects at the international fair are Zhang, Huang, Cao, and Wang.
