Jack Joins Practice Squad: Latest Sports News and Job Opportunities

Myles Jack, a 28-year-old veteran inside linebacker, has been signed to the practice squad by Pittsburgh. This comes three months after Jack left the game during training camp with the Philadelphia Eagles. The Steelers are in need of help at inside linebacker following season-ending injuries to Cole Holcomb and Kwon Alexander in recent weeks.

Jack spent the 2022 season with Pittsburgh after playing six seasons in Jacksonville. He led the Steelers with 104 tackles last season but was slowed by injuries and then released in March. After signing with Philadelphia in August, he retired two weeks later.

Pittsburgh signed him to the practice squad on Monday as they look for depth at inside linebacker. Elandon Roberts played every defensive snap in a 13-10 loss to Cleveland on Sunday, while Mykal Walker took most of the snaps at the other inside linebacker spot.
