Isaiah Hodges signs contract with Giants

The Giants reached an agreement with wide receiver Isaiah Hodgins, as announced by the team on Thursday night. As a restricted free agent, the Giants opted not to tender Hodgins. The 25-year-old player appeared in all 17 games for the Giants last season, starting in nine of them. Throughout the season, he recorded 21 catches for 230 yards and three touchdowns in 511 offensive snaps.

Originally drafted by the Bills in the sixth round of the 2020 draft, Hodgins was later acquired by the Giants off waivers during the 2022 season. In his first season with the Giants, he made an impact by catching 33 passes for 351 yards and four touchdowns in just eight games. His performance was especially notable in the team’s wild card playoff win over the Vikings, where he added another eight receptions for 105 yards and a score.

Hodgins now has a total of 58 career receptions for 622 yards and seven touchdowns. It seems that the Giants see potential in the young wide receiver and are looking forward to his continued contributions to the team.
