A thunderstorm with heavy rain passed through the Zagreb area last night, and showers with thunder are expected for Tuesday. According to Tomislava Hojsak, B.Sc. ing for HRT, the rain will be particularly heavy in the first part of the day in the central part of the country and in the east, where there will be a north-easterly wind. The end of the day may bring sleet and snow to the highest mountains.
On the Adriatic, moderate to strong southerly and southwesterly winds are expected, which will later turn into a gale that can be strong with storm surges. Inland areas are likely to experience temperatures between 5 and 10 degrees, while temperatures on the Adriatic could reach up to 15 degrees but are expected to drop in the afternoon.
Wednesday on the mainland is expected to be cloudy and windy, with less rain falling primarily in Dalmatia. Snow and sleet are expected in the highest areas of Lika and Zagora, with possible showers with thunder in the south. The second part of the day could see partial clearing, with scattered rain mainly in Lika and Dalmatia. Winds are expected to be moderate to strong, sometimes reaching stormy northeast speeds. Additionally, on the Adriatic, moderate and strong gales with storms are expected, especially at
