Inspiring Innovation: The Illinois Junior Academy of Science Region 10 Science Fair Comes to Lincoln Land Community College

Lehigh Valley Community College to hold regional science fair on March 16th

Lincoln Land Community College is hosting the annual Illinois Junior Academy of Science Region 10 Science Fair on Saturday, March 16 at Cass Gym on the LLCC-Springfield campus. This event will feature students in grades 7-12 from a 13-county area that includes Adams, Brown, Cass, Christian, Green, Hancock, Macoupin, Montgomery, Morgan, Pike, Sangamon, Schuyler and Scott.

The public is invited to view the science projects on display from noon to 2 p.m., and an awards ceremony will follow at 2 p.m. Students whose projects receive outstanding scores at the fair will have the opportunity to advance to the IJAS State Exposition taking place on May 3-4 in Decatur. This is a great opportunity for young scientists to showcase their hard work and innovation, competing against other students from across the state.
