The ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 has set a new record as the most attended ICC event in history, with a total of 1,250,307 fans attending the tournament. The momentum of spectator figures escalated throughout the tournament, with the attendance surpassing one million fans with six games still remaining.

The final match at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad saw a packed crowd, highlighting the immense popularity of the tournament. The event, which took place from 5 October to 19 November, prioritized placing fans at the center of the action. It broke records for attendance, with the opening match between England and New Zealand drawing the largest crowd for a Men’s Cricket World Cup opening match. Additionally, the match between India and Pakistan became the most attended fixture in ICC World Cup history.
