Mon Health Preston Memorial Hospital recently held its annual health fair in Newberg, West Virginia. This event is a significant part of the hospital’s community outreach programs and has been happening since 2003. The health fair is co-hosted by the Newberg Rotary Club, and a portion of the proceeds from the event supports their projects throughout the year.
The health fair was organized by staff from Mon Health Preston Memorial Hospital’s Laboratory, Cardiac Rehabilitation, Trauma, and Primary Care – Fellowsville, along with other healthcare and community agencies. The event provided free and low-cost health screenings and education to attendees on various topics such as organ donation, stroke and heart attack symptoms, substance use prevention, respiratory care, and more.
