Jack’s sister Rosemary was left completely immobile much earlier, after a terrible and inhumane lobotomy. Two years older Kathleen died when her plane crashed in the French Alps. Older brother Joe died in a war plane, and their brother Robert was killed in 1968 while campaigning for the presidential election.
