Grants Awarded to Christian Health Center

The Fredericksburg Christian Health Center, a faith-based and nonprofit organization, has been serving the community for 20 years. Dedicated to providing free and reduced health care to those who can’t afford it, the center has made a significant impact in the area. In 2023, the center celebrated its anniversary and received a grant from the Joe and Mary Wilson Community Benefit Fund of Mary Washington Hospital to support its operations in 2024. Additionally, the center was able to hire a full-time behavioral health counselor last year thanks to a grant from the Virginia Health Care Foundation.
