In October, the Superior Health Foundation awarded $722,065.93 in proactive pediatric mental health grants to six organizations. The event was presented by 44North and took place at the fall grant award celebration.
Accepting grant awards were the Michigan State University – Department of Pediatrics and Human Development; Upper Peninsula Health Care Solutions, Inc.; Great Lakes Recovery Centers, Inc.; Catholic Social Services of the Upper Peninsula; Northern Michigan University and Marquette-Alger RESA. These organizations will receive funding over a two-year period to support their efforts in promoting mental health for children.
