John E. Anzak, a 66-year-old resident of Hannibal, Ohio, passed away at home on Sunday, November 19, 2023. He was born on July 31, 1957, to the late Shirley (Cochran) and John Anzak. John had a distinguished career with the US Postal Service, serving as Post Master for 24 years before retiring on his birthday in 2009 after 32 years of service.
John’s passion for fishing and sports brought him immense joy throughout his life. He cherished spending time with his loved ones and enjoyed many memorable moments with them.
Surviving family members include his brother James Anzak of St.Clairsville, OH; niece Megan Anzak of Taylors, SC.; and step-niece Kelly Reasbeck of Marins Ferry. Additionally, he has three first cousins who will miss him dearly.
Friends and family are invited to gather at the Apostolic Pentecostal Church located at 73339 Pleasant Grove Rd in St Clairsville, OH on Wednesday November 22, 2023 at 11am for visitation followed by services at 1 pm led by Pastor Dan Nelson.
