Jennifer Lynn Cerasoli, a 65-year-old woman from Traverse City, Michigan, passed away on April 26, 2023. She was born in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii and was the daughter of Donald and Marlene Rand. The family lived in various states due to her father’s job managing different businesses.
Jennie graduated from Hollidaysburg Area Senior High School in 1975 and later attended Penn State University. She became interested in working with people with disabilities and earned master’s degrees in special education and education from the University of Pittsburgh. After marrying John Cerasoli in 1995, she moved to Traverse City where she worked as a tutor and teacher for people with dyslexia while also working in restaurants. Jennie was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Marlene Rand, and her brother, Donald Jr., but survived by her sister Julie Greenberger; their children Eden and Nate; as well as aunts, uncles, and cousins. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Save the Manatee Club or The Nature Conservancy or The Elephant Sanctuary of Tennessee as she believed that being kind was the best way to honor her memory
