Washington Commanders have announced the addition of two new coaches to their staff, including Bobby Johnson as the offensive line coach and Ken Norton Jr. as the linebackers coach.
Johnson, who previously worked with the Giants, brings a wealth of experience to the role. He has spent two seasons as the offensive line coach with the Giants before being dismissed at the end of the 2023 season. He also has coaching experience with teams such as the Colts, Raiders, Lions, and Jaguars over the course of his career.
Meanwhile, Norton Jr., who was previously a defensive coordinator for several teams, including Dallas Cowboys and Washington Redskins, will now be responsible for guiding the team’s linebackers. Head coach Dan Quinn, who recently joined the team from Atlanta Falcons, has been busy filling key roles on his staff since taking on the position a couple of weeks ago.
It has been reported that Quinn is building a coaching staff with seasoned NFC East coaches, indicating a strategy to bring in experienced and knowledgeable individuals to help guide the team to success.
