Yoga instructor Taylor Provenzano led a group of seniors at the Brooke County Senior Center in stretching exercises and relaxation techniques as part of the center’s observance of Heart Month. The Health Plan also offered its services, with a health coach providing advice to the seniors. In addition to the yoga session, seniors had the opportunity to participate in a crafting activity with Mildred “Pebbles” Fish from the Brooke County Family Support Center’s Healthy Grandfamilies program.

This event was a way for seniors to focus on their heart health and overall well-being, with activities aimed at promoting relaxation and healthy habits. The combination of yoga, health coaching, and crafting provided a holistic approach to caring for seniors’ physical and mental health. The event was a great way for the community to come together and support the senior population in Brooke County during Heart Month.
