Eagles Close Gap to 17-14 Thanks to Jalen Hurts’ Impressive Run

Jalen Hurts scored his eighth rushing touchdown of the season and the 34th of his career on a designed run during the third quarter of Monday Night Football. The Eagles were trailing by three points at 17-20, but Hurts’ 10-yard sprint to the end zone brought them within a touchdown. Despite struggling to score on their first seven possessions, with only 85 yards gained and 70 coming from the touchdown drive, the Eagles put together a crucial seven-play, 61-yard scoring drive in the fourth quarter. This brought their total yards to 146.

On the other hand, D’Andre Swift has rushed for 78 yards on just 11 carries, while Hurts had four carries for only 16 yards. Hurts is also struggling with his passing game, as he is only completing eight out of thirteen attempts for a total of 69 yards and an interception. A.J. Brown has been largely unproductive so far, with just one catch for eight yards.
