Cassadaga Valley Middle/High School is hosting a health fair supported by the Rural Mobile Medical Unit Health and Wellness Initiative. The event will take place today, March 22 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., and on Saturday, March 23 from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. Over 30 service providers will be present, along with the Vet Center and The Chautauqua Center’s mobile units. They will be available to discuss how they can assist the community, families, youth, children, and elders.

The health fair will coincide with the school’s annual musical. Various topics will be covered by the service providers, including elder abuse, financial exploitation, services for youth and those with disabilities, Emergency Services of Chautauqua County, retina/eye research, veterans agencies, SNAP, Jamestown Police Department’s Domestic Violence Unit, vaping and tobacco use, and more. Western NY Urology will have services available for blood draws on Friday.

The event is free to attend and open to the public. Food trucks will be on site offering lunch and dinner options. Most service providers will be available both days to provide information and engage with the public.
