Collin Lee Appointed as SAIC’s Vice President of Business Development for Space Industry

Collin Lee has been appointed as the space business development vice president at Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC), as announced on his LinkedIn post on Tuesday. Prior to this role, Lee was the VP of intelligence systems at General Dynamics’ (NYSE: GD) mission systems business and spent five years with the subsidiary during his 23-year career, which focused on business consulting, defense, and intelligence.

Lee received a bachelor’s degree in public administration from James Madison University before joining PricewaterhouseCoopers as a senior consultant. In 2003, he moved to Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH) for a similar position. He later served as legislative liaison at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence from May 2007 to September 2011. During this time, he also held the position of director of legislative affairs at the National Security Council before starting his term at GDMS as director of strategy and business development in June 2014. He was also named director of the company’s Frontiers space technology incubator.
