Clemson Secures Another Victory Over Syracuse with Record-Breaking Performance

Clemson’s Hall scores 25 points leading team to 90-75 victory against SU

On Tuesday night, Clemson defeated Syracuse 90-75 in a thrilling game. PJ Hall led the way for the Tigers with a strong performance that saw him score 25 points. Ian Schieffelin also had a standout game, scoring 16 points and pulling down 16 rebounds while shooting a perfect 5 for 5 from the field. This victory marked Clemson’s second win over Syracuse this season, having previously defeated them on February 10th.

Syracuse had a solid effort, with Joe Girard III and Chase Hunter scoring 21 and 17 points respectively for the Tigers. The Orange shot an impressive 56.7% from the field, but were unable to close the gap on Clemson’s lead throughout most of the game. Judah Mintz led Syracuse with 20 points, supported by Quadir Copeland with 17 points and Maliq Brown with a double-digit rebounding effort of 12 points and 11 rebounds. JJ Starling also contributed to Syracuse’s efforts with a solid performance of his own, scoring 10 points in the losing effort.

Despite getting within five points in the second half, Syracuse was unable to overcome Clemson’s lead and ultimately fell to defeat at home. However, they will be able to focus on their upcoming ACC Tournament appearance now that they have completed their regular season schedule against Clemson and Wake Forest.
