The Central High School football team will be playing in the PIAA Class 3A playoffs this Friday, with a matchup against District 10 champ Hickory at Mansion Park at 7 p.m. Central, who won the District 6 championship earlier this year, is excited to play close to home and compete for a state title.
Meanwhile, Cambria Heights is heading to the state Class 1A playoffs with a Saturday matchup against District 4 champ South Williamsport. This is their first ever district championship and they are eager to show off their skills on a bigger stage. The game will be played at Williamsport High School at 7 p.m. on Saturday.
On Friday, District 6’s Bald Eagle Area will face District 4’s Southern Columbia at 7 p.m., while District 6’s Juniata will visit District 4’s Selinsgrove also at 7 p.m., completing the full schedule of interdistrict games for this year’s PIAA playoffs.
