Brunswick County Health and Human Services announces appointment of new director

Catherine Lytch has been appointed as the new executive director of Health and Human Services in Brunswick County. With over 30 years of experience in human service delivery and management across the state, Lytch will now oversee Brunswick County Health Services, Public Housing, Social Services, and Emergency Medical Services. In addition to her new role, she will also serve as a staff liaison on the HHS Advisory Board.

Lytch expressed her gratitude for the opportunity and stated that she is honored to work for Brunswick County and serve her community. Her expertise in managing complex programs and services will be crucial in advancing important services for the county’s residents.

The position of executive director was previously held by David Stanley before he was promoted to deputy county manager. The position was re-established during a reorganization process under Stanley’s supervision.
