Breaking News: Three Road Workers Injured in A1 Fence Incident Near Karlovac

On Sunday at 9:35 a.m., a traffic accident occurred on the A1 highway near Drežnik, Karlovac, reports the Karlovac Police Department. The accident involved a passenger car with Ogulin license plates driven by a 55-year-old man, who due to inappropriate speed hit the rear of a police vehicle with Zagreb license plates driven by a 56-year-old man. The force of the impact threw both vehicles into a metal guardrail and caused them to bounce back onto the roadway.

According to the police report, the 55-year-old man was seriously injured in the traffic accident, while the driver of the police vehicle and his passenger were slightly injured. The police department stated that they will be forwarding a report on this incident to their superiors for further investigation.

In addition to this, it was revealed that the driver of the passenger car will be issued a mandatory misdemeanor order for causing this traffic accident. This decision was made by law enforcement officials in accordance with local regulations and guidelines.
