April 11 scheduled for street sweeping in Jamestown downtown business district – Jamestown Sun

City crews in Jamestown will be conducting street sweeping in the downtown business district on the evening of Thursday, April 11. According to the city engineer’s office, the sweeping will begin at around 11 p.m. and will continue until the work is completed. It is important to note that the schedule may be subject to change depending on weather conditions and wind speeds. Therefore, all vehicles should be removed from the downtown streets and avenues during these designated times.

The Jamestown Sun staff report explains that news stories sometimes use a byline of “staff” when reporting on basic news briefs derived from official sources, such as a city press release regarding road closures. This approach requires minimal additional reporting. The “staff” byline may also be used when a news story involves multiple authors or when it is compiled by aggregating information from various sources. In all cases where external sources are referenced within a story, this is clearly noted for transparency.
