UK and France Warn US: “The World is Watching” Regarding Ukraine Aid, Says POLITICO

Cameron is calling for the U.S. House Republicans to provide military support to Ukraine and pass a $60 billion aid package that the Senate approved nearly two months ago. This comes ahead of a face-to-face meeting with U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson, where Johnson’s Republicans are deeply divided on the issue.

Last week, Cameron urged European foreign ministers to reach out to Johnson to push for the aid package to be passed. He believes that if the $60 billion flows from the U.S. to Ukraine, it could change the narrative about the situation in Ukraine.

This is not the first time Cameron has advocated for this cause. In December, he visited Washington D.C. to encourage Congress to pass an aid package for Ukraine. In February, he wrote an op-ed urging the West to learn from history and not repeat the mistakes made in the 1930s.

However, not everyone is supportive of Cameron’s efforts. Republican Marjorie Taylor Greene criticized Cameron, saying he should focus on his own country and dismissively telling him to “kiss my ass.”
