The Dubai World Cup 2024 will showcase Japan as Ushba Tesoro, the defending World Cup champion, takes on 11 challengers, including America’s Senor Buscador. The two horses dueled in the Saudi Cup, with Senor Buscador winning by a nose. The international intrigue is increased with the presence of Kabirkhan from Kazakhstan, who has a real chance of winning. The 1 1/4 mile race is the main event on a card that includes the $1 million UAE Derby and the $6 million Dubai Sheema Classic. The race will be broadcast on FS2 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. EDT.

On Dubai World Cup day, there will be World Pools for win, place, exacta, trifecta, and quinella wagering, with pools expected to be some of the largest in North America. For example, the World Pool exacta handle for the Saudi Cup was over $2.6 million. Japan also brings Forever Young, winner of the Saudi Derby, to compete in the UAE Derby for a chance to earn 100 Kentucky Derby points. He will face tough competition, including Pandagate from the US.

International fields can be challenging to handicap, but the Super Screener provides analysis to help cut through the noise and identify horses with a real chance of winning. The Super Screener offers insights into the Dubai World Cup, as well as the Florida and Arkansas Derbys on the Kentucky Derby trail. It is available now as part of the Triple Crown package.
