Falcons, Chargers, and Commanders Begin Offseason Programs on Tuesday

Tuesday marks the official return of Jim Harbaugh to the NFL, as the Chargers, Falcons, and Commanders kick off their offseason workout programs on the earliest possible date this year. Following them, the Panthers, Patriots, Seahawks, and Titans will begin their programs on Monday, April 8, while all other teams will start on April 15. The offseason program consists of three phases, culminating in multiple weeks of Organized Team Activities and a mandatory minicamp.

Some teams may choose to shorten their sessions, as everything aside from the mandatory minicamp is voluntary for players. Many players have workout bonuses that serve as incentives for them to attend the voluntary sessions. While attacking the day with an enthusiasm unknown to mankind is encouraged, it remains an optional mindset for players.
