Armenia’s Foreign Minister Attends 5th RA-EU Partnership Council in Brussels, Discusses Regional Issues and Bilateral Agenda.

Mirzoyan and Kupman address security issues in the South Caucasus

Ararat Mirzoyan, Armenia’s Foreign Minister, is currently in Brussels to attend the 5th session of the RA-EU Partnership Council. During his visit, he met with Khert Jan Kupman, the European Commission’s General Director for Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, to discuss various issues related to the security situation in the South Caucasus. The two officials exchanged ideas on addressing the medium and long-term needs of those displaced from Nagorno Karabakh, as well as promoting the “Crossroads of Peace” program developed by the Government of Armenia.

In addition to discussing regional issues, Mirzoyan also addressed a wide range of topics on the RA-EU bilateral agenda, particularly the effective implementation of the provisions of the RA-EU Comprehensive and Extended Partnership Agreement. The session will take place on February 13 and will involve participation from various high-level officials, including the RA Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Vice President of the European Commission, Josep Borel.
