Arizona Coyotes Announce Move to New Scripps Sports Radio Station

The Arizona Coyotes have announced that their games will now be broadcast on a new independent station, KASW/Arizona 61. This change will take effect starting Monday, Nov. 20 when the Coyotes play against the Los Angeles Kings. The move was made in order to make the NHL games more accessible to fans. As a result, 64 of the remaining 65 Coyotes games this season, along with pregame and postgame shows, will now be available on KASW/Arizona 61.

In October, the Coyotes ended their partnership with Diamond Sports Group’s Bally Sports and signed a multiyear deal with Scripps Sports to televise all non-nationally exclusive Coyotes games over the air. The newly signed deal will result in Antenna TV and the CW programming being carried on Channel 6 on Cox.

Additionally, the monthly “Coyotes Insider” show will air on KASW/Arizona 61 and Scripps-owned ABC15 beginning Saturday, Nov. 18 at 10:30 p.m. (ABC15), and again on Sunday, Nov. 19 at 10:30 p.m. (KASW/Arizona 61). Coyotes Chairman and Governor Alex Meruelo expressed his excitement over the new partnership, emphasizing their commitment to making hockey thrive in the desert.
