Apple Announces Exciting Changes to Its Budget-Friendly Smartphones and Tablets

Apple is set to launch a new mid-range iPhone SE in the first quarter of 2024, marking its fourth iteration. The company typically updates its low-cost mobile phone every two years. This latest version is expected to have a design that closely resembles the basic iPhone 14, with a larger screen of approximately 6.1 inches.

One significant change that sets this new iPhone SE apart from its predecessors is the elimination of the front button, which will be replaced by facial recognition technology known as Face ID. This will make it the first iPhone SE model to feature this technology for unlocking and verification purposes. While the price of this new iPhone SE is expected to be around €500, it may have some weaknesses that differentiate it from Apple’s high-end phones.

For instance, it may only come with one camera on the back, possibly a 48 MP sensor, and it might not have an action button like the iPhone 15 Pro. However, it is expected to incorporate some of the latest chips that Apple has developed for its flagship phones, possibly including the A16 Bionic chip.

Overall, this new version of the iPhone SE promises to be a significant upgrade from its predecessors with a larger screen, modern design, and facial recognition technology.
